Hi, this is Sarp Gürakan! I was born and raised in Turkey, and I have been living abroad since college. I graduated from Harvard in 2019 with a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy. I worked at Microsoft as a Product Manager for a few years, and then received my master's in Science, Technology and Society at UCL. Nowadays, I am at MIT, working with Prof. Sherry Turkle on her new book on Artificial Intimacy.

I was featured in a high school friend's very popular movie analysis channel on YouTube.
Since high school, I have been singing as a bass. In college, I sang in a Harvard a cappella group for 2 years.
I used to sing with the Bogazici Jazz Choir. In this video, we help a member propose to his girlfriend.
